Late Fees

If fees are not paid by Round 3 of the season then an additional Late Fee of $20 will apply.

Winter Family Discount

5% off for a second child’s individual fees, and 10% off for a third and any subsequent children (note: discounts applied in age order of children).

Coaching Discount

For people who serve as coaches within the club we offer the following discounts off their own playing fees:

Team Coach: 50%
Assistant Coach: 25%

Fill-in fees

The first 2 games as a fill-in are free per competition section (HV registration still required) . i.e if you play Saturday Seniors and then fill in for a mid week team the first 2 games are free and then fill-in fees apply. Double-up games in the same competition section don't incur fill-in fees.

ECHO Hockey Club works hard to keep playing fees as low as possible. Fees are calculated carefully each year to ensure that the lowest fees are charged and that the club stays viable.

Payment plans are available for players who require staggered payments. Please contact the Club Treasurer for more details.

Hockey fees are made up of two components:

1. Hockey Victoria individual registration (paid annually to Hockey Victoria)
2. ECHO Hockey Club season fees (paid to ECHO via TeamApp or EFT)

Hockey Victoria Membership

Hockey Victoria (HV) requires each player to pay a separate registration fee when they complete the HV online registration form. This amount is in addition to ECHO Club fees. DO NOT pay this amount to ECHO Hockey Club.

This fee covers player insurance, and a hockey ‘development
levy’ and ‘Hockey Australia levy’ aimed at growing hockey as a sport. HV membership also includes access to State Netball Hockey Centre (SNHC). Please note that fill-in players are also required to pay this fee.

ECHO Summer Fees

Fees increase by $15 after Round 1

Plus HV registration fee.

Summer Player Referral Discount

A discount of $25 applies to anyone who refers a new player new to ECHO (or a player who hasn’t played for ECHO for over three years). A player can receive a discount to a maximum of two referrals ($50 discount). The new player will also receive the discount. This discount does not apply to fill-ins.
